The Hunter Morpeth Motel and Villa’s is part of the Hunter Tennis Resort, which also incorporates Raworth Tennis Centre, and sits within over 4 acres of beautifully maintained grounds, close to the scenic tourist village port of Morpeth NSW. The Resort is less than 2 hours easy drive from Sydney and within 30 minutes of Newcastle Airport. Maitland town centre is only minutes away. Hunter Morpeth Motel and Villa’s has 9 motel rooms built in 2006 with a separate common room/kitchen facility, 8 Villa’s built and a 5 bedroom residence built in 2018. All rooms are non smoking. The property has a capacity to sleep 74 visitors. We are not pet friendly but options for your family pets are available nearby.
Morpeth is considered to be the hub of the Hunter with the beautiful beaches and waterways in one direction and the famous Hunter Valley Vineyards and tourist attractions in the other.
Come and relax in the peaceful surrounds of The Hunter Morpeth Motel and Villa’s, have a game of tennis, table-tennis, soccer or cricket or just sip a cool drink by the pool or even enjoy a BBQ with your family or friends. Guests are able to be fully self-sufficient by using the on-site kitchen/communal area at one end of the Motel. This has a fridge/freezer, oven, microwave and much more to make your stay as easy as possible. Alternatively Morpeth is a short 20 minute walk away, or just a couple of minutes in the car. There you can enjoy looking at the interesting stalls, immersing yourself in the history of the town, or just relax with a coffee and enjoy the views across the historic Morpeth Bridge, or enjoy a drink and meal at one of the many cafes and restaurants. There is ample free parking for the Motel, with over 45 spaces on-site for use by our guests.

Wineries and Adventure
The Hunter Valley varied landscapes are dotted with its signature vineyards and tall copses of trees. To truly appreciate the beauty of the terrain it is best to either take a hot-air balloon trip or go sightseeing on a bicycle.
There are multiple Wine, Cheese & Chocolate Tours which provide the chance to stop at multiple exquisite Hunter Vinyards to sample the valley’s famed delicacies and wines, or just to snap a photograph of some of the wonderful gardens that may catch your eye.
Day Trips
Whilst the boutiques and antique stores are all worth a visit, other places worth mentioning include the famous Morpeth Sourdough bakery. This bread, baked by the Arnott family since 1848, is available at different locations in Sydney, including Harris Farm Markets, but in Morpeth you will find the original source. The bakery is housed in the Arnotts family home and upstairs is the official Morpeth Sourdough restaurant, Arnotts Bakehouse.
The history of Morpeth is easily discovered in the Morpeth Heritage Walk which endeavours to reveal how Morpeth has changed throughout the years.
If you run out of things to do, a short drive away is Maitland Gaol which runs self guided tours.

Thanks for the weekend getaway- great value, super clean and friendly staff. With only a small motel it is quiet with lots of privacy. The late check out is a bonus and gave us extra time to go for a swim!!! This place is good for those traveling alone or with small children. Keep up the good work..
