CONTROL STRINGS

Head Sonic Pro Edge (Black)  (NEW)

Head Sonic Pro Edge 16 is an ultra playable co-poly with impressive comfort and liveliness for a monofilament control string. This one provides easier depth than a traditional polyester. Thanks to it’s 5 sharp edges, the bite is incredible. Sonic Pro Edge is ideal for aggressive baseliners who like to impose their will with heavy combination of pace and spin. It’s also not a bad option for the player who is looking for a comfortable entry point into the magical universe of polyester.

Solinco Barb Wire

This is a monofilament co-polyester that provides excellent spin generation. The textured surface provides tremendous ball bite along with a crisp, yet soft feel. Barb Wire combines good ball pocketing with enhanced spin potential for the ultimate in control. Barb wire is often used as a main string, and blended with something a little softer in the crosses, such as synthetic gut. This blend is a favourite of our coaches Linda and Lucy!

Luxilon ALU Power 125 (Blue)

Combines great durability with impressive power and good control. One of the most popular strings on the ATP and WTA tours. The durable and control oriented response of Luxilon ALU-Power and other Luxilon co-polyester strings has revolutionized professional tennis. By far the most popular choice on the ATP Tour, Luxilon’s co-polyester monofilament construction allows a player to take full cuts at the ball without any loss of control. Players with fast swing speeds also tend to find these strings very spin friendly.

Head Rip Control 16

This is a thin composite string, combining copolymer (nylon) fibers and polyolefin ribbons. Combined precision control with maximum playability, added topspin and excellent durability. Features Unique woven polyolefin ribbon construction around a multifilament polyamide center core with a textured surface. Closest synthetic string to natural gut. This string is soft on the arm and is suited to players with tennis elbow.

Babolat RPM Blast (Black)

The string of choice for Stan Wawrinka and Rafael Nadal, this durable co-poly string is very, very spin friendly. The slick surface of RPM Blast allows the main strings to slide out of alignment, grab the ball and then snap back to add spin to the shot. While all co-poly monofilaments do this to some extent, our lab tests confirm that RPM Blast is exceptional in this regard. Though RPM Blast offers a slightly softer feel than traditional polyesters, it is by no means the softest co-poly available. It is an ideal choice for big hitters with heavier racquets seeking maximum control, durability, and spin.

Topspin Concept Pure (White)

Topspin Concept Pure is the softest and most powerful co-polyester Topspin has produced to date. This high tech co-polyester string does not have any color supplements allowing the string to perform at its peak potential. This string is very elastic and provides prolonged playability.The comfort afforded by this poly surpasses many other polyester strings available on the market.

 

POWER STRINGS

Babolat Revenge (Red)

This is a great option for string breakers who like to take massive cuts at the ball. Pre-stretched for longer lasting tension maintenance, Revenge is one of Babolat’s firmest co-polys. As such, it is recommended to those who favor durability and control above all other factors. Best suited to players who like to make their own power. While not ideal for players with compact strokes, this one will give stronger players phenomenal spin and precision, espeically on faster swings. Given the firm feel, this can be strung at lower tensions without any significant loss of control.

Head Synthetic Gut PPS 16 

Features PowerStrip technology which adds resilience, creating extra speed on all

TENNIS ELBOW STRINGS

Head Protector 16  (White)

Heads super-soft hybrid string Protector 16, a winning combination of its successful RIP technology and unique, advanced materials, is an excellent string for players suffering from tennis elbow. The elastomer modified center core, with polyamide fibers and polyolefin ribbons, provides optimal shock absorption. Protector 16 offers great power superb comfort and excellent playability.
